Ammon – It seems that the well-known Chinese clothing company Shein has entered into the conflict that has been going on for several days between Israel and the Hamas movement.
Over the past few days, the clothing retail website Shein has taken a number of steps, coinciding with the continuation of the violent Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, following the sudden Hamas attack on October 7.
The site initially faced criticism from its Israeli customers for offering Palestinian flags for sale, while searching for the Israeli flag yielded no results.
The Israelis expressed their anger at Shein’s behavior and called for a boycott of the famous e-commerce platform.
One Facebook commenter said: “By supporting a terrorist organization like Hamas that is attacking my country Israel, Shein has lost our orders.”
The Israeli newspaper “Jerusalem Post” revealed that the protest led “Shein” to remove Palestinian flags from its store.
But the matter did not stop there, as the giant Chinese company decided to end its partnerships with Israeli influencers.
Influencers across Israel received an email, saying: “Thank you for your support and love for Shein. Due to some modifications, the date of publishing the ad campaign has been postponed. Please refrain from posting about Shein. We will provide an update with more details and a date.” New publication soon.
Furthermore, all free deliveries to Israel have been cancelled.
The newspaper “Israel Hayom” explained Shein’s actions as “punishment for Israel for the war it is waging in Gaza.”
There was no official comment from the Chinese company regarding the Israeli criticism.
