One of the main indicators of the US market is the S&P 500 index, which had risen 0.5%, approaching its record since the end of February. While the Dow Jones industrial index rose 1.1% and the Nasdaq Composite index traded 0.4%.
Analysts consulted by CNBC consider that the announcement of the Russian president on the mass production of the vaccine called Sputnik V for the population in early 2021 has caused these increases in the stock market. Despite the fact that some doctors have expressed their exceptions about the Russian vaccine that with the help of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) it will also be produced abroad.
However, investors took the news positively and even viewed it as proof of the imminent end of the pandemic.
