Royal reporter Carolyn Durand writes in OprahMag.com that Meghan, Prince Harry, and Archie enjoyed the day with Doria Ragland, who apparently lives nearby their current residence in Los Angeles. And for those concerned, a source said everyone was “mindful” of proper social distancing guidelines.
Mother’s Day took place just a few days after Archie’s 1st birthday, which was a low-key event at home. According to People sources, “Meghan made the cake—strawberries and cream,” while “Harry helped with decorations and blew up balloons.”
While Meghan and Harry couldn’t throw Archie a party due to stay-at-home guidelines, they did video-chat with loved ones: “They Zoomed with godparents, friends and family and had a really simple but incredibly joyous day,” People’s source says, adding that Archie “is best friends with his dogs” and “They make him laugh and are gentle with him.”
