Just imagine a dinosaur the size of a Tyrannosaurus Rex or T.Rex having intercourse with the opposite sex? Of course it is very interesting to examine it from a scientific perspective.
It’s just that, according to Discover Magazine, currently the search for how dinosaurs had sex seems to be going nowhere.
Currently there is a lot of evidence to show that dinosaur continue offspring by laying eggs. But how the process is that has not been caught in the end.
“Moreover, experts are still struggling to even tell the difference between male and female dinosaur remains. How can we make any guesses about their method of procreation?” wrote Discover Magazine.
Fortunately, paleontologists have now found some rare and interesting evidence to show about the mating practices of dinosaurs. After studying the modern-day descendants of creatures that once ruled the planet, researchers have developed some pretty convincing theories about the sex life of dinosaurs.
To find the answer, the researchers set out on the assumption that dinosaurs had mating rituals and physical cues to attract mates. It is a natural condition that many creatures in the animal kingdom do today.
This is supported by certain physical conditions found in some dinosaurs. For example Triceratops to Pachyrhinosaurus which has horns. As well as a protective function, the horns are believed to have played a particular role in prehistoric animal sex.
