The main roles are played by Tomáš Hanák, Eva Holubová, Milan Šteindler, Barbora Nimcová, Lucie Šteflová and Tomáš Vorel Junior. Polívka and Holubová play members of the old Papoš peasant family, Hanák and Nimc’s immigrants. Milan Šteindler plays a con man and a former communist from a hunting association.
