The police in Waterbury, in the US state of Connecticut, managed to recover a 2023 Ferrari 812 GTS thanks to a very unusual feature: the headphones that its owner left in the model. The AirPods, which have a locator, were key to finding the model.
What happened
Ferrari 812 GTS, valued at US $ 575,000 (about R $ 3.2 million at the current price), was found because the owner of the vehicle’s AirPods were left in the car and were found later.
The theft took place on September 16, with the owner quickly contacting the authorities, who used Apple’s “Find My” to locate the headphones inside the Ferrari.
