A ‘fat-finger’, literally translated a fat finger, may have been the cause of a sudden crash on the European stock markets Monday morning. Investors were startled by a short-lived crash in the markets in Stockholm, Copenhagen and Oslo, where stock indexes plunged by up to 8 percent. The Bel-20 also fell spectacularly. Fifteen minutes later, the greatest damage was repaired, although the stock market week opened with a loss.
