Viktor Hovland went one stroke under par in his third round of the PGA Tour in Los Angeles. He is still a long way behind the leaders of the tournament.
Hovland was in joint 29th place after the second round. In the third round on Saturday, he hoped to be able to look up the leaderboards.
He made par on the first four holes. Then followed a bogey on hole five. Three holes later he followed up with the day’s first birdie, and was thus on par after a half-played round.
On hole 13 came the second birdie of the day, before he went for another bogey, two holes later. However, the Ekeberg boy managed to move up a couple of places on the results list after he made the third birdie of the round on hole 17.
After the completed round, Hovland is a total of three strokes under par, in a provisionally shared 25th place.
American Max Homa and Spanish Jon Rahm are currently tied for the lead at 13 strokes under par.
