Houston Weather: Tornado Made Landfall Reported in Fort Bend County | Univision 45 Houston KXLN

HOUSTON, Texas.- A tornado made landfall between FM 1994 and FM 361 on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Fort Bend county emergency office.

The authorities ask the residents of the area to seek refuge. They also report that there is no electrical service on FM 361 near Suyler Rd.

A severe storm advisory was issued until 6:30 pm in Harris County. This storm over Greater Heights is moving southeast at 10 mph. It is capable of producing torrential rain, strong gusts of wind (60 mph), and small hail.

  • Until tonight: There is a chance that it will rain in some areas of Houston so it could bring us a cooler outlook by lowering the level of the heat that has been felt up to 109 degrees.

  • Tomorrow (Wednesday): We will have another hot day with temperatures reaching 97 degrees with a 30% chance of rain.
