HOUSTON, Texas. – Due to the bad weather that plagues the state of Texas and much of the United States, various government agencies in the Houston metropolitan area and its surroundings will temporarily close their doors this Monday.

These are the agencies that will be closed:
Harris County Health Department

Due to bad weather, the Harris County Health Department will close all of its outpatient clinics, hospital procedure areas and the Fournace building on Monday, February 15. All patients will be contacted to reschedule appointments.

Government agencies will update the status of their reopening hours and attention to the public as the bad weather recedes in the Houston metropolitan area and its surroundings and the risk has passed.

The public transport service Houston Metro will temporarily suspend operations as of Monday, February 15, due to freezing weather throughout the region. The MetroLift, Metro HOV, HOT and Metro RideStore lanes will also be closed to traffic.

All clinics Legacy Community Health They will close on Monday, February 15, due to the forecast of freezing temperatures from the Arctic that may affect our region.

Legacy clinics will resume their normal hours on Tuesday, February 16. Any changes or closings will be announced Monday.

Staff will call each patient affected by this closure to reschedule their appointment.
