The housing market report 2021 of the Sparkasse clearly shows: The rents and the purchase prices for apartments and houses in the Main-Spessart district have risen a lot in the past ten years and they will probably continue to rise. There are, of course, regional differences. The urban-rural divide remains. A comparable house in Frammersbach or Burgsinn is cheaper than a property in Lohr, Karlstadt, Zellingen or Marktheidenfeld. On behalf of the Sparkasse Mainfranken, the market research institute IIB Dr. Hettenbach examined the housing market in the Main-Spessart district.
