Less space, but more craftsmanship on the Wohga
After a three-year Corona break, the Wohga spring fair will take place again from March 9th to 12th. Local handicrafts are now also presented in Winterthur’s Eulachhallen.
“Now look here, I have a dozen ready-made sausages here and no customers!” exclaims the sausage stand operator, half annoyed, half amused. “It takes far too long for people to get to me!” The statement is addressed to Andreas Künzli. He is the managing director of Maurer + Salzmann AG, which organizes the Wohga spring fair in Winterthur’s Eulachhallen. The fair is taking place again this year after three cancellations due to the pandemic. Künzli quickly solves the problem with a courageous grip on the barriers and thus opens a passage. “Good contact with the stand operators and exhibitors is important to me,” he says. Despite a three-year break, he is hoping for good visitor numbers again: “I would be very satisfied with anything over 15,000.”
