A housewife tries to take her daughter out of the house where her husband, who has a good personality and financial strength, lives. Is that really the case?
Yoshiko Yamamura, a private investigator with over 10 years of experience and over 3,000 investigations, has published a series called “Portrait of a Family as Seen by a Detective,” which has many cases that reflect the times. Therefore, we have created a short-term series of things that symbolize the recent times and things that have received a great response. The theme for the first session was “Housewives”. In 2023, the word “1.03 million yen wall” was thrown around a lot. The working style of full-time housewives, who focus on housework and childcare within the scope of spousal deductions, may change in the future.
The person who came to Mr. Yamamura for advice was Ryohei (pseudonym), a 45-year-old businessman. In the first part, we explained the content of the consultation in detail. When Ryohei returned from a three-month overseas business trip, his wife and daughter were gone. The person who introduced Ryohei to Yamamura said that he was a wonderful person who not only had financial strength but also a good personality. So why did he leave home?

Until my daughter’s kindergarten transfer notification…
The client this time is a 42-year-old man. When I returned from a three-month assignment in the United States, my wife (38 years old), a full-time housewife, and my daughter (5 years old) were gone, and the kindergarten my daughter attended had been notified of their transfer. So he asked us to find a place for him. I accepted the request because there was no element of domestic violence or moral harassment, and it was introduced by a highly reliable manager.

In the case of a housewife running away from home, there are extremely few clues. I don’t have a job, and my child’s kindergarten has changed, so I have no idea where I am or what I’m doing.
Also, my wife is a perfectionist. The client, Ryohei, said that she did not let her do any housework because she thought, “As a full-time housewife, it would be a shame if I made my girlfriend’s husband wash the dishes and take out the garbage.”
However, it has not been long since I left. For now, I decided to park my car at a coin parking lot near my home and monitor it 24 hours a day. Even when I left home thinking everything was perfect, I often found myself forgetting things, and I was betting on the possibility that someone would come and retrieve them.
