6:10 am: Firefighters injured in the Gard
South of Nîmes, in the Gard, the fire caused a large plume of smoke which required the partial closure of the A9 motorway, which serves Spain. 350 burned hectares burned. Four firefighters were injured including one seriously, hospitalized for burns, according to Colonel Agrinier who coordinates the operations on site.

6:05 a.m.: 150 hectares of pines burned in the Landes, around fifteen houses evacuated
The fire which broke out on Sunday in the forest town of Mano (Landes), on the border with the Gironde, burned 150 hectares of pines but “is no longer progressing”, according to firefighters. The fire is not yet fixed, however.
As a preventive measure, about fifteen houses were evacuated, i.e. about forty people.
