Houses, vehicles, entire streets were completely covered with a thick layer of ice in just one night.
It is in the city of Hamburg in the United States that these aberrant images were taken. Townspeople woke up on February 29 to find the village transformed as if it had briefly passed through a parallel dimension worthy of Narnia.

It is “simply” the weather forecast from the previous night that explains everything. The village is located by a lake, and it is the unique combination of these geographic and meteorological factors that made this absurd scene possible.
Even though the rest of New York State had very balmy temperatures compared to the norm for the region, freezing temperatures plagued Hamburg overnight. A strong wind blew over the lake creating waves 5 meters high. The moving water with the wind would have hit the houses, causing an unprecedented freeze.
OR THEN maybe it was Frozen. It is also possible. There is no absolute truth.

Even if it is difficult to take your eyes off when you see this, let’s remember that people live in these houses! Some can barely leave their homes and locals have no idea what will happen once the ice begins to melt. This will certainly cause serious domestic damage, and reconstruction work should be inevitable.
