The police arrested the alleged perpetrator homocide SL (43), a family member who was found dead covered in blood in Pondok Ranggon area, Cipayung, East Jakarta. The perpetrator was arrested by the Sub-Directorate of Jatanras Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya.
“The perpetrators have been secured by the Jatanras sub-directorate,” Jatanras sub-directorate head of Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Indriwienny Panjiyoga said when prompted on Sunday (8/1/2023).
Panjiyoga did not explain the arrest in detail. He said the perpetrator was arrested yesterday.
“Protected yesterday,” he said.
It was earlier reported that a domestic worker in Pondok Ranggon area, Cipayung, East Jakarta was found dead covered in blood. It was claimed that the victim died horribly with scars on her abdomen.
“Yes (wounds) to the stomach,” East Jakarta Metropolitan Police Criminal Investigation Unit AKBP Ahsanul Muqqafi said when asked for confirmation on Friday (6/1).
Ahsanul said the victim was found dead by the homeowner on Friday (6/1), around 12 noon WIB. At that moment the witness who had just entered saw the victim covered in blood lying on the table.
“So the owner of the house came into his house at 12. He saw his maid die,” she said.
