A shooting on the Erich Salomonstraat in IJburg last night. Not for the first time in recent times a house has been fired upon.

Just before 3 a.m., local residents call 112 after they hear gunfire. Local residents say they have heard six bangs. There are several bullet impacts in the windows of the house. Witnesses say they saw two men dressed in dark wearing helmets shooting. They then ran away towards the Diemerparklaan, where a motor scooter was waiting.

At least one person was said to have been in the house at the time of the shooting, but no one was injured. The police came to the scene with many cars and closed the street for a trace investigation. The police helicopter has also been deployed, but to no avail. The house would also have been shot at earlier this week.
