House Republicans Request Recordings and Transcripts of Biden’s Interviews with Special Counsel Hur

The committee chairmen are particularly interested in materials related to the interview with Mark Zwonitzer, the ghostwriter of Mr. Biden’s memoir, who the special counsel accused of sharing government secrets and documents related to a 2015 call with Ukraine’s prime minister.
The House Republicans argue that these materials are relevant to the ongoing impeachment investigation into President Biden. They have been trying to establish evidence of wrongdoing by the President, specifically in relation to his family’s foreign business dealings in China and Ukraine, as well as allegations of accepting bribes. However, their investigations have thus far failed to uncover any substantial evidence against the President.
