United States: house prices continue to fall
US home prices continued to fall, according to data released on Tuesday (Dec. 27).

The decline marks the fourth monthly decline in the United States. According to the index, home prices rose 8.6% year-on-year, down from 10.4% the previous month.
The data comes amid the most aggressive interest rate hike cycle in years as the Federal Reserve battles its worst inflation in four decades.
They also come as the housing market slows amid higher mortgage rates due to rising interest rates.
