A house fire broke out on December 24th, 2020 in Liebensteiner Str. In Barchfeld. For reasons unknown up to now, a fire had ignited in the roof structure and unfortunately spread to the whole floor.
The Barchfeld, Immelborn and Bad Liebenstein fire departments are in action. Likewise the DRK-Bad Salzungen.
Unfortunately, the entire building was damaged by the extinguishing water and is now uninhabitable. According to initial findings, two people were slightly injured.
How it will go on with the two residents this Christmas Eve is unclear.
