A fire broke out this morning, Saturday, April 22, in a house in the Sidi Slimane Al-Jazouli neighborhood in the ancient city of Marrakech.
Local sources told the electronic newspaper “Zakora Press” “ZAP TV” that the fire, which was likely caused by the explosion of a mobile phone charger that was left connected to the electricity, caused a second-degree injury to a five-year-old child.
The same sources confirmed that the intervention of the neighbors made it possible to save the child, who was trapped inside by the flames, as he was quickly transferred to the Mohammed VI University Hospital Emergency Center for treatment.
The same sources added that the civil protection elements were able to put out the fire, while the security forces opened an investigation into the circumstances and circumstances of the accident.
