CAVA DE’ TIRRENI – She has not yet spontaneously handed over the keys to the public housing in Santa Lucia to the Property Office of the Municipality of Cava de’ Tirreni. Now comes the forced eviction for the young assignee of the house. Her fault? Never having lived there, since the day of assignment which dates back to about ten years ago. The domestic utilities not connected and the zero consumption, together with other cross-checks, were the overwhelming proof of the chronic absence of the woman and her family from that home. A house empty for a decade that is waiting to be assigned to someone who really needs it. The forced eviction with the municipal police and the state police is scheduled for mid-September.
The same dynamics for the other assignees, about 60, who since the beginning of the investigation have been found not to have the right. There are those who, having received the eviction letter, have voluntarily left and those who, instead, have waited for the forced eviction. The last evictions scheduled are six: in three cases the ruling of the TAR is awaited. Once the patronal festivities of Santa Maria Incoronata dell’Olmo are over, the conclusions are drawn for the next forced evictions against assignees of council houses without title. The next few months will be decisive: either in or out.
