Kochi | After two away defeats in ISL, Kerala Blasters are few hours away from home. In the last league match, the opponent is second placed Hyderabad FC. The match is at 7.30 pm. This is also the last match of the league round. Second-placed Hyderabad have made the semi-finals and Blasters have secured the play-offs by finishing in the top six.
Yesterday, ATK Mohun Bagan defeated East Bengal by 2 goals without any opposition, and Blasters’ hopes of playing the playoffs at their home ground were dashed. Blasters are currently in fifth place with 31 points from 19 matches and ten wins. Mumbai City FC and Hyderabad have entered the semi-finals as the top two runners-up.
The winners of the two playoff matches will now enter the semi-finals. Bengaluru is the opponent of Blasters in the first play-off which will be held on March 3. The match will be held in Bengaluru.
ATK will face Odisha in the second playoff on March 4. In the first play-off, the third and fourth places in the table can play the play-off at home. The semi-finals will be held from March 7. The final is on March 18.
