NVIDIA NVDA.O and MICRON MU.O lost around 1% in the market pre-market. * TESLA TSLA.O achieved record deliveries of its Chinese-made vehicles in the second quarter (247,217 units), according to data from the China Passenger Car Association. * APPLE AAPL.O infringed two Optis patents in 4G technology, the London Court of Appeal ruled on Tuesday, rejecting the US giant’s appeal in a long-running dispute. * META META.O plans to launch its microblogging app called Threads, days after Twitter boss Elon Musk drew criticism when he announced a temporary limit on the number of posts users can read on his platform. * British electric vehicle group ARRIVAL ARVL.O is ending its proposed merger with a SPAC while NIKOLA NKLA.O plans to liquidate recently acquired battery business Romeo Power, the two companies said on Monday, heightening concerns concerning the difficulties encountered by start-ups in the electric vehicle sector. Nikola was down 3.7% in pre-opening trades. * RIVIAN RIVN.O, on the other hand, gained 3.5% after the announcement by AMAZON AMZN.O of the launch in Germany in the coming weeks of its first electric vans produced by the American manufacturer. * Goldman Sachs raised its advice on NETFLIX NFLX.O from “sell” to “neutral” and its price target from $230 to $400.
