Hottest New Year’s Eve ever measured: 15.4 degrees in Limburg village Ell | Interior

It has been very soft in the last few days and today we even set a record at the last minute. In the Limburg village of Ell, it was already 15.4 degrees in the night from Friday to Saturday at 03:10, reports Time square.

This makes it the hottest New Year’s Eve since the start of the measurements. The old record was still quite fresh, because exactly one year ago it reached 15.1 degrees in the same village of Ell. We also experienced an extremely weak turn of the year, resulting in records on December 31st and January 1st.

New Year’s Day is also expected to be record hot tomorrow. The old record is therefore from 2021 and stands (just like today) at 15.1 degrees.

If it gets hotter than 14.4 degrees in De Bilt this afternoon, that will also be an official record date. It would then become the eighth record warm date this year compared to a record cold date.
