The English Football Premier League team has confirmed Nun Ispirit Santu, a longtime co-driver of Wolverhampton Wanderers, as head coach of Tottenham Hotspur, the club said in an official statement. An agreement with the specialist has been reached by 2023.

Santu has been the head coach of the Wolverhampton team for the past four years. Already in his first season, the specialist ensured the promotion of “Wanderers” to the Premier League, because at that time the team was still playing in the “Championship” or in the second English football league by force. Later, Wanderers, led by Santa, finished twice in seventh place at the end of the Premier League season, the team’s best result since 1980.
It has already been reported that in April of this year, the head coach of the unit, José Mourinju, lost his job as the head coach of the Hotspur team, and the team led by him finished seventh in the last season of the Premier League.
After the dismissal of the Portuguese specialist, the reins of the London club were handed over to the current assistant coach, Ryan Meison, until the end of the season, but it was already clear that the club would look for a new head coach. Later, Hotspur tried to return the former coxswain of the unit, Maurice Pocetino, as well as to attract the Italian specialist Antonio Konti.
However, the talks with Konti were suspended after it became clear that the Italian did not meet the specific needs of the club, while the talks with Pocetino did not succeed. Hotspur was also considering hiring former Italian football champions Milan and Napoli co-drivers Gennaro Gatuzo as the coach’s work – the agreement was already practically at the finish line, but the deal was ruined at the last minute due to dissatisfaction of the fans.
