This appreciation was conveyed via social media after accompanying his client, Venna Melinda, to undergo an examination at the East Java Regional Police regarding allegations of domestic violence by Ferry Irawan.
The famous lawyer stated that the legal process until Ferry Irawan was named a suspect in the case went very quickly.
“The East Java Regional Police have named Ferry Irawan, husband of Venna Melinda, as a suspect on suspicion of being related to Article 44 paragraph 1 and Article 45 of the Law on Domestic Violence,” Hotman Paris said in an Instagram Reels upload, Thursday (12/1).
“Thank you for the very fast legal steps and determining the suspect according to the available evidence,” he continued.
In the upload, Hotman emphasized that Ferry Irawan would be summoned as a suspect on Monday (16/1). He also revealed that his task in Surabaya had been completed so he would soon depart from that city.

Venna Melinda on Thursday (12/1) underwent police questioning regarding the report on the alleged domestic violence case of Ferry Irawan. He came to the East Java Regional Police Headquarters accompanied by Hotman Paris and his two children, Verrel Bramasta and Athalla Naufal.
He came directly for the first time after reporting Ferry Irawan to the police on Monday (9/1).
After examining and examining the crime scene, on January 12 the police officially named Ferry Irawan a suspect. He was charged with Articles 44 and 45 of Law Number 23 of 2004 concerning domestic violence.
Apart from reporting her husband to the police, Venna Melinda confirmed that she would sue Ferry Irawan for divorce. The divorce process will begin after Venna arrives in Jakarta.
“God willing, when I return from Jakarta, I will take care of the divorce. I really feel that this is enough, this violence is enough,” said Venna Melinda after being questioned at the East Java Police Headquarters, Thursday (12/1).
The case of alleged domestic violence by Ferry Irawan to Venna Melinda was revealed nine months after Venna Melinda and Ferry Irawan married on March 7, 2022 at Wide Sands Beach Retreat, Bali.
Before being proposed to by Ferry Irawan, Venna Melinda had married actor Ivan Fadilla Soedjoko in 1995. Venna was blessed with two sons, namely Verrell Bramasta and Athalla Naufal. Venna and Ivan decided to divorce in 2013.
Meanwhile, Ferry has been married twice. He first married Noviyana Shintawati from 2001 to 2009. Then, married Anggia Novita from 2009 to 2021.
