PT MNC Asset Management has appointed the Hotman Paris & Partners law firm of Hotman Paris Hutapea as the attorney regarding the determination of PT MNC Asset Management as one of 13 corporate suspects by the Attorney General’s Office in the alleged corruption case of PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero).
The certainty about Hotman Paris Hutapea as the attorney of PT MNC Asset Management was confirmed by Hotman himself through his personal Instagram account @hotmanparisofficial on Friday (26/6).
In the Instagram post, Hotman Paris Hutapea also showed the official statement from PT MNC Asset Management signed by Frery Kojongian as the Managing Director of PT MNC Asset Management.
In this statement, PT MNC Asset Management stated that it had not yet received official notification regarding the designation as a suspect by the Attorney General’s Office.
In addition, PT MNC Asset Management also explained that the MNC Dana Syariah Syariah Equity II product managed by PT MNC Asset Management was a mutual fund product that was only purchased by Jiwasraya Insurance and had nothing to do with other mutual fund products.
Not only that, PT MNC Asset Management claims to be a legal institution that will always comply with all applicable laws and regulations by prioritizing the interests of customers.
Before becoming the attorney of PT MNC Asset Management, Hotman Paris Hutapea had also been the legal counsel of another suspect, PT Sinarmas Asset Management.
