Lawyer Hotman Paris denied having sexually harassed the woman who had been his personal assistant, Iqlima Kim.
Hotman’s rebuttal was in response to a summons sent by Iqlima accompanied by Razman Arif Nasution.
Hotman considered the various police reports to be just a diversion. He was also surprised by the various police reports that linked him.
“Now someone else makes a report saying that Hotman has sexually harassed,” said Hotman in the Instagram account @hotmanparisofficial, Friday (29/4).
“Hotman is this smart, as successful as this is, so many girls are willing, it’s impossible to sexually harass, remember that,” Hotman said confidently.
Hotman asked the person who reported it not to climb the social ladder or social security. He even said they should be grateful that his rank rose thanks to him.
“Successful Hotman, rich Hotman, famous Hotman cannot possibly commit sexual harassment,” he reiterated.
In this case, Iqlima Kim said the alleged sexual harassment by Hotman Paris was physical and verbal. Iqlima admitted that he had rejected the sexual harassment act, but Hotman continued to insist.
“Physical, verbal, non-verbal exist,” said Iqlima, as quoted from detik.com.
“Yes, when I said I didn’t want to, I covered my hands, but I was pushed,” he added.
Iqlima Kim sent a subpoena to Hotman Paris. The subpoena was sent publicly by Razman Arif Nasution.
“You have treated Iqlima like this, you are still looking for weaknesses, if you don’t succeed in doing something to Iqlima, look for someone else. That’s why I ask you to firmly meet me, Hotman 7×24 hours, otherwise I will convey this matter to the media and to the legal realm, obviously bright,” said Razman Arif Nasution.
