Jakarta –
The family of a businessman from Aceh, Akidi Tio, provided a grant of IDR 2 trillion for the handling of COVID-19 in South Sumatra. Many later praised the movement.
One of the compliments was delivered by a famous lawyer, Hotman Paris. He considered the actions taken by the deceased’s family like heroes who move when their surroundings need them.
Unmitigated, Hotman Paris also said that Akidi Tio’s family was much more generous than some of the richest people in the world, including Bill Gates.
“Is this true? If true then this is the True Hero of all time in the world! Defeat Bill Gates and the World Conglo!” wrote Hotman Paris on Instagram.
Not wanting to just give appreciation through social media, Hotman Paris also plans to meet the family of Akidi Tio. He was curious as to why they wanted to donate so much money for the handling of COVID-19.
In his upload, Hotman Paris also insinuated several people who he said could only provide criticism without taking action to help others.
“Hotman wants to meet this family, want to know what’s in their hearts! Cash or goods?? Hello, good-natured but stingy and stupid people: look at you asep & poltak!!” he said.
In the end, Hotman Paris also suggested that the money be used to purchase vitamins which would later be distributed to the economically weak people.
“Suggestion: the money is used to buy Vitamin D & C to be distributed to the poor,” he concluded.
Previously, South Sumatra (Sumsel) Police Chief Inspector General Eko Indra Heri received a grant from an Acehnese businessman family worth Rp. 2 trillion. The grant funds were given to assist the handling of COVID-19.
The provision of trillions of grants was witnessed by the Governor of South Sumatra Herman Deru and the Danrem Garuda Dempo (Gapo) Brigadier General Jauhari Agus. The giver is the family of a businessman from Aceh, the late Akidi Tio.
Tio’s family handed over the funds to the South Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Eko for the COVID-19 response. Especially for residents affected by PPKM, which is currently being implemented.
