Hoteliers Zandvoort can probably cash in early September | Inland

Formula 1 fans who want to spend the night near the circuit will have to pay a lot of money. Many accommodations are either already sold out or not yet available on the popular site Booking.com. Anyone looking there now for three nights, from 2 to 5 September, will see that 96 percent of the accommodations on that site are not available for the dates mentioned.

The fan who clicks on the Amsterdam Beach Hotel in Zandvoort gets the shock of his life. The price for 3 nights? 31,506 euros. So more than 10,000 euros per night. However, that turns out to be wrong. Rooms for the mentioned hotel cannot be booked at all, which is why the prices are so high.

The hotel will also not be available during the Grand Prix weekend, as it has already been booked by the Formula 1 management. The chances of the race being held in the first weekend of September are therefore getting bigger and bigger.

Last year the same scenes around hotels were noticeable. The top class of motorsport would be back in the Netherlands on May 3 after 35 years, but the corona crisis threw a spanner in the works. The hotel rooms for the beginning of May were also almost unaffordable. In February, however, it turned out that many accommodations were still available, due to the astronomical amounts that were asked. Entrepreneurs subsequently fell sharply with prices. So patience can be rewarded.
