Hotel occupancy reaches 95% in New York

Official figures indicate that the hotel industry in the city is close to recovering -completely- after the pandemic.

According to the Office of Mayor Adams: Over the past week, hotel occupancy in the city reached 95%, the highest level since the onset of COVID.

Midweek demand outpaced weekend demand, showing growth in business travelers.

For its part, Broadway attendance and gross sales were the highest since the reopening of theaters.
