A hotel has collapsed in the Chinese city of Suzhou, west of Shanghai. At least eight people were killed, local authorities said. The lives of another nine missing are feared.
More than 600 rescuers search the rubble for signs of life. Fourteen survivors have now been freed from the debris, Chinese state broadcaster CCTV reports.
