A yellow hot weather code for 21 areas has been issued for today, August 26. reported by the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH).
Today will be mostly sunny and hot, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) announced. In the morning hours, there will be fog or low clouds in places in the eastern areas. After lunch mainly over the mountainous areas cumulus clouds will develop in the western half of the country and it will rain for a short time in some places. It will blow weak, in Eastern Bulgaria to moderate wind from the east-northeast.
Maximum temperatures will be between 32° and 37°, slightly lower along the Black Sea, in Sofia around 33°. Atmospheric pressure during the day will remain almost unchanged – close to the average for the month.
Along the Black Sea it will be mostly sunny, in the morning hours in isolated places with low clouds or fog. A light to moderate wind will blow from the east. Maximum temperatures will be 28°-31°. The temperature of the sea water is 25°-28°. The excitement of the sea will gradually increase and in the evening it will already be 3-4 balls.
Above the mountains it will be mostly sunny, after noon with cumulus clouds and in some places short-term rain will fall. A weak, moderate wind will blow from the east-northeast on the high and exposed parts. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 meters will be about 27°, at 2000 meters – about 19°.
It will be sunny on Sunday too, with temporary increases in cloudiness early in the morning over the Black Sea, and after noon – over the mountains in Western Bulgaria. There will be isolated short-term rains in the southwestern mountainous regions. The wind will remain with an eastern component, along the Danube and in Eastern Bulgaria it will temporarily increase. Maximum temperatures will be between 33° and 38°, along the Black Sea 26°-29°.
At the beginning of the new week, it will remain mostly sunny. With a weak southerly wind, the temperatures will rise a little more and the maximum will be between 34° and 39°, around 30° along the Black Sea.
