33-year-old S.V. is detained for a period of up to 72 hours by decree of a supervising prosecutor
The Sofia District Prosecutor’s Office prosecuted a 33-year-old man for robbery. This was announced by the Sofia District Prosecutor’s Office.
On 20.02.2023 at around 05:05, the accused S.V. stole a purse with 500 BGN from a croupier in a casino in the city of “Student city” in the city of Sofia, as used for this force and intimidation – pointed a gun at her, grabbed her arm, pushed her, knocked her to the ground and pulled the purse from her waist.

In this case, pre-trial proceedings for a crime under Art. 198, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code, for which a penalty of “imprisonment” of 3 to 10 years is provided.
S.V. is detained for a period of up to 72 hours by decree of a supervising prosecutor.
A motion to remand the accused is pending before the court.
