Indonesian national team they drew 0-0 against Vietnam in the first leg of the semi-finals AFF Cup 2022 at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), on Friday (6/1).
In the first half the Indonesian national team had more chances to score. Dendy Sulistyawan, Marselino Ferdinan and Yakob Sayuri are names that have golden opportunities to score against Vietnam.
But none of these opportunities resulted in goals. Marcelino’s kick and Yakob’s header were countered by Dang Van Lam. While Dendy, who has free space for the shot, chooses to pass the ball instead.
Conversely, Vietnam was unable to create a golden opportunity to score. The 0-0 draw also decorates the end of the first half.
Going into the second half, the game heated up as a commotion broke out between the two teams. This was triggered by a violation committed by Doan Van Hau on Dendy Sulistyawan in the 54th minute.
Doan Van Hau, who had committed the infraction, also fell, groaning in pain. This prompted a number of Vietnamese officials to visit the camp.
After the commotion died down, the Indonesian and Vietnamese national teams continued to carry out buying and selling attacks. But until the 70th minute, both teams still had problems scoring goals.
Provided both teams failed to score a goal, Shin Tae Yong was not prompted to make a substitution. Meanwhile, Vietnam included two replacements, namely Tan Tai Ho and Tuan Hai Pham.
Shin Tae Yong only made a change in the 81st minute when he played Ricky Kambuaya to replace Rachmat Irianto.
In the 82nd minute Pratama Arhan tries to shoot hard from outside the box. But Arhan’s shot still soared high over the goal.
During injury time, Yakob Sayuri’s shot went on goal but the Vietnamese goalkeeper managed to clear it. Shin Tae Yong then sent Witan Sulaeman, Ilija Spasojevic and Saddil Ramdani onto the field in the closing minutes.
No goals were created in this match. Indonesia vs Vietnam draw 0-0.
