Hot air balloon makes emergency landing on Stein . football field

In Stein, Limburg, a hot air balloon made an emergency landing on a football field last night. The match was halted and no one was injured.

The balloonist says his gas ran out and he had no way to put his balloon anywhere else. “Emergency breaks the law, doesn’t it?” he says against 1 Limburgwhere images of the landing can be seen.

The football players of RKSV De Ster and VV Sittard saw how the hot air balloon landed around 8.50 pm. As the balloonist landed on the edge of the box, he greeted one of the players dryly with “Hi”.

The soccer players helped clear up the colossus. “Everyone was upset. Something is happening here,” says chairman Raymond Dukers of RKSV De Ster.
