Host Sébastien Cauet targeted by two new complaints for rape and sexual assault

The troubles are piling up for Sébastien Cauet. While the host is already the target of a rape complaint, two other women have come forward according to information from Figaro relayed this Tuesday, November 28.

“The Paris public prosecutor’s office has received, to date, three complaints filed against the radio host Monsieur Cauet, including two initially handled by the Bourg-en-Bresse public prosecutor’s office, concerning acts of rape and sexual assault”, indicates the Paris prosecutor’s office to Le Figaro.

“The investigation was entrusted to the minor protection brigade of the regional directorate of the judicial police (DRPJ), one of the complainants indicating that she was a minor for part of the facts reported,” specifies the prosecution.

A first complaint filed on November 18

According to Le Figarothe two new complainants were adults at the time of the alleged facts.

The first complaint against the 51-year-old host was filed on November 18. The Bourg-en-Bresse public prosecutor’s office has opened a preliminary investigation into rape of a minor over 15 years old and rape. It was filed by a 25-year-old young woman named Julie, who explained that the events had occurred when she was a teenager, in 2014.
