Host Myrka Dellanos was absent for several days on ‘La Mesa Caliente’, but viewers were not aware of the complex situation she was experiencing until her return last Thursday.
Through the television program that is broadcast from Monday to Friday in the afternoon, he said that his mother had been in poor health and was confined in a hospital to evaluate what was happening.
“My mom has been in the hospital with emergency surgery, but I wanted to be here because I know that a miracle has been done, that a miracle is also being done,” she said in front of her colleagues in the entertainment space.
During his return to the program, Dellanos thanked the support and expressions of affection received from his audience and his co-workers. He also took the opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of regular check-ups and early detection of diseases.
However, she explained that her mother had not been discharged, but she remained full of hope that things would improve: “He’s still in the hospital. “I have faith that God is great, that he keeps his promises and that we are going to move forward.”
