The technical staff of the first national football team, led by Hossam Al-Badry, announced the names of Al-Ahly players joining the list of the Pharaohs in preparation for the official preparations to face the Togo team back and forth on November 14 and 17 in the third and fourth round of qualifying matches for the African Nations Cup in Cameroon.
The joined players are: Mohamed El-Shennawy, Ayman Ashraf, Mohamed Hani, Amr Al-Soulia, Mohamed Magdy Qafsha and Hamdy Fathy, and Ahmed Fathy, Kahraba and Hussein Al-Shahat are excluded.
These players will join the open camp training the day after tomorrow, Wednesday, and Mohamed Barakat, the national team manager, confirmed that the team will start its open camp on Tuesday.
Al-Badri Hussain Lachhat, the Al-Ahly player, also ruled out after the medical examinations that he underwent under the supervision of the doctor of the national team, Dr. Muhammad Abu Al-Ala, confirmed that he had a strain in the posterior muscle, and Mohamed Barakat, the director of the national team, said that Dr. Muhammad Abu Al-Ola presented the results of the medical examination to Hussam Al-Badri this morning, In his report, he stressed the difficulty of joining the national team camp due to the lack of time, especially since his treatment and rehabilitation require a period of up to a week.
The national team director emphasized that it was difficult for Mohamed Farouk, a Pyramids player, to join the camp as well, after the tests that he underwent with the knowledge of the national team doctor proved that he suffers from a strain in the quail and also needs a period of treatment.
The national team will enter an open camp tomorrow, Tuesday, in preparation to face Togo, back and forth, on November 14 and 17, in the third and fourth round of qualifying matches for the African Nations Cup in Cameroon.
