Some forty nurses have been recruited by the Ministry of Health.

The latter took part yesterday in a Induction Course organized by the Ministry of Health as a prelude to their entry into public services. These nurses will be stationed in hospitals, among other health centers.

The Minister of Health, Kailesh Jagutpal, affirmed that these forty nurses followed training courses at the Lycée polytechnique Mauritius.

These new nurses are part of a first group having completed the training course at this institution thanks to a partnership with the Ministry of Health.

The introductory courses provided to these new nurses are very important because it is about discipline and Customer Care. He was to assert that without irreproachable behavior in the exercise of their functions, nurses can be exposed to sanctions. And to highlight that these recruits arrive at the right time because of the pressure exerted on the public health services by the Covid-19. This recruitment will somehow reduce the pressure on public health personnel, said the Minister of Health.
