Hospital Syndicate in Lebanon Urgently Demands Payment for Dialysis Patients

The Hospital Syndicate in Lebanon announced that “hospital dues for dialysis patients who are at the expense of the Ministry of Health have been pending in the Ministry of Finance for several weeks, and have not been paid even though they date back to the period extending from the beginning of the year 2023 until now.”

She added in a statement: “Hospitals cannot bear the consequences of this delay in payment. They warn that they have become unable to provide medical supplies and medications for dialysis patients, the prices of which have recently doubled several times.
