Rachel and Klaas recently announced their relationship. Rachel tells in conversation with journalist Andries Jelle de Jong of New Revue that she already ‘met Klaas years ago’ and that they have always kept a ‘friendly bond’. Although she denied earlier this year that there was a romantic relationship, she is no longer hiding this.
“Recently, that’s more. (…) We now have a relationship,” she says, beaming. She also reveals who took the first step, because according to Rachel it was really Klaas who asked her to go out. When asked what Rachel likes about her new boyfriend and ex-member of No Surrender, she says: “Very nice man. Very nice man. I’m really proud of him.” She also says that she is ‘foolish’ for Klaas. “We have a great time together,” she adds.
