Hospital rape: Management promises to improve security and reporting system for dangerous behavior

A patient hospitalized in Marchant, Toulouse, was accused of raping another patient. The victim immediately filed a complaint, and the investigation was entrusted to the police. The nursing staff, already concerned by the violent behavior of the aggressor, claims that this incident could have been avoided. The doctor in charge had requested the presence of a specialized agent to monitor this patient, a request refused due to lack of budget, according to Isabelle Seff, CGT union representative of the establishment.
