Hospital makeup; Nayanthara’s response to Malavika Mohanan’s criticism

Nayanthara replied to Malvika Mohan who indirectly criticized her. In an interview, Malavika had asked how Nayanthara’s character in the film Raja Rani in full makeup also behaves when she is about to die. Nayanthara responded to this criticism in an interview related to the movie Connect. Nayanthara said that even though Malavika didn’t tell her name, he understood that it was meant for her and that he does what the director says with her.

She said I acted in full makeup in a hospital scene and my hair and face they were perfect without falling out. Does one want to be in a hospital with messy hair? I also cleaned the patient’s hair in the hospital. Will there not be someone to give, care and take care of? There is a big difference between a film realistic and a commercial one. When you shoot a realistic film, you have to act without makeup as you see in real life. But in a commercial film, the makeup is done in a way that pleases the audience. This scene was in a commercial film. In that film, I acted as directed by the director..I am an artist who always obeys the director.

Malvika made the controversial comment during the promotional interview of the film Master.

“I recently saw a film by a superstar actress. They were playing a scene in the hospital. There they are about to die but they were wearing full makeup in that scene too. Not a hair had changed. Any realism in your acting? Malavika asked, “How do you act in full makeup without any harm even when you are dying?”
