Hospital: “coordinated and regulated” emergency care

In the national context of shortage of medical and nursing professionals, the Comminges is not spared. Faced with this situation, and in order to maintain the permanence of care, the Saint-Gaudens hospital center wishes to set up “coordinated and regulated emergency care”.

From this Saturday, June 18, the Emergencies will welcome patients with a vital emergency or proven signs of emergency.

Patients are therefore asked to contact 15 before going to the Emergency Department.

Patients requiring urgent medical care without any sign of seriousness should prefer the use of general practitioners on weekdays.

On weekends, patients are asked to dial 39 66, and will be taken care of, if necessary, by the doctor present at the Medical Center on duty from Saturday at 8 a.m. (The Medical Center on duty is located in the premises of the Hospital Centre).

Understanding and respecting these measures thus enables all patients in the territory to benefit from care appropriate to their state of health.
