Hospital closed in Dakahlia, after 17 medical staff were infected with the K.V. virus

A medical source in the Directorate of Health Affairs in Dakahlia confirmed the closure of the Al-Sadr Hospital in Dikirnis Center for two weeks, after monitoring of infection of 17 of the medical team with Corona virus and positive samples were confirmed.

The source said in exclusive statements to Masrawy: The infection was transmitted to the medical staff by a patient residing in the village of Mahmudiya, affiliated with the Dikirnis Center, and he was diagnosed as a seasonal flu, but after taking smears and sending them to the Mansoura International Hospital laboratory, his condition was positive.

The source added: The patient with corona whose wife works as a nurse in one of the health units, and she was staying with him inside the hospital, moving naturally and mixing with everyone, and after the discovery of the injury, more than 76 people, including doctors, nurses and workers, were examined, and 17 cases were found.

The source confirmed the transfer of all the injured from the medical staff to the isolation hospital, Tama Al-Amdid.

He explained that the Miniyat Al-Nasr Hospital received another positive case from the same village of the injured patient, and it was transferred to the stone, pointing out that the village was completely sterilized, especially the two cases.
