Candy Apple was the best at the finish in this short sprint. Gilbert Rousset’s courier sign, suddenly, his second victory in a row. He followed ‘handy’ behind the lead duo Henry Tudor-Emerald Band and Color My Fate before releasing a nice percussion outside with a Dinesh Sooful in a state of grace to win. Color My Fate starts well for the first runner-up. Emerald Band and Gimmetherain end up in the money.
