The accident happened this afternoon around 3.30 pm in Kedichem in Utrecht. A young woman was riding her horse at the time. A white car pulled up behind her. According to the police, it may have been a Volkswagen Caddy.
Hind legs hit
The white car passed her at high speed, hitting one of the horse’s back legs. The driver of the white car stopped briefly but then took off anyway.
The police are calling witnesses to report.
