The condition of the former president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, is extremely serious, his lawyer Shalva Khachapuridze reported, as quoted by “Interfax-Ukraine”.
“His face is blackened, pigment spots have appeared, his hands are wrinkled. The color of his face is like that of a person who died two or three days ago,” said the lawyer.
According to him, Saakashvili should immediately be sent for treatment abroad.
Already on April 26, a council of independent doctors came out with a position that Saakashvili should be treated in a foreign clinic because he is at risk of disability or even death.
Mikheil Saakashvili has been in prison since October 1, 2021, and his condition is progressively deteriorating.
